Looking For Content to Publish!

We truly can't get anywhere without a group of artists, writers and helpers who are willing to contribute their effort. With help we can publish short stories, poems, articles, comics and other content on our website. Favorites will be selected to be published in our anthology book Reality of Perception, novels, or Dollar Comics. We value your efforts and will respectively compensate you for your work as best as we can.

Short Stories:

Generally 1 to 8 pages long but this fact shouldn't force you to chop up a great story. We're looking for all sorts of stories, (see content guidelines.) We like to publish our short stories with a fitting illustration, if you don't have an illustration we would be able to locate an artist who would like to do one.

Poems:

We're looking for varying poems that invoke feelings of anger, awe, fear, happiness, laughter, love, sadness and others that reach a large audience and create vivid imagery, tell a story or have a moral. Any poetry form is accepted. (See content guidelines.) We like to publish our poems with a fitting illustration, if you don't have an illustration we would be able to locate an artist who would like to do one.

Comics:

This is our broadest category. Whether it be a single strip, several pages, black and white, color, or an ongoing series, we have your publishing needs covered. For long series we have our Dollar Comic format which come close to the size of a traditional B&W manga book and are published only 16 pages at a time. Shorter comics are more suitable for our websites' weekly random comic or our anthology book.

Articles

We're looking for anything regarding current news, crafts, Japanese, cooking, videogames, anime, manga, graphic novels, comics, etc.. Articles would need images that are copyright friendly.

Illustrations:

If you're an artist or photographer and would like aid in our articles, stories or poems we can work with you and the writer to determine what kind of illustration is needed.

We can also introduce comic artists to storytellers.

Other:

We're looking for anything else you may have to offer. Web Content, Games, Puzzles, Papercraft, and any other contents or products we can display or sell on our website. As well as general help like coding websites, moderating content, editing, reviewing and proofreading.

We will work with you as best as we can to polish up your idea in order to ready it for publishing.

Copyright Protection: basically we will not use anything you send us until we make a contract and you receive the compensation we agreed upon in step 3.

Content Guidelines:

There are only a few guidelines we use to gauge whether a content belongs with Reality of Perception.

  • It must be original.
  • It may not portray, sex, occultism, excessive violence, nudity, or profanity.
  • Quality. It needs to be a good idea. This good idea will have to be refined to the best it could be.

We're open to most all genres including but not limited to: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Crime, Documentary, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery, Romance, Satire, Science Fiction, Slice of Life, Speculative, Thriller, Urban, Ect. (20 basic plots.) Some ideas we might be a little more reserved about than others.

Step 2: Review & Development

At this point we will determine what needs to be done in order to publish your work. From solely online posts to collective or individual publications. Minor story and comics edits, optional suggestions and additions. We can help you with editing or do it for you with your consent. If applicable we'll work with you on getting an illustration commissioned. We'll also discuss your copyrights, royalties and compensation.

Compensations: Through a series of questions we'll work with you to determine what compensation works best for you. Whether it be some of our products, art supplies needed to get your work done, or cold hard cash.

We will work with you as best as we can to polish up your idea in order to ready it for publishing. Once again we will not use anything you send us until we make a contract and you receive the compensation we agreed upon in step 3

Step 3: Contract & Compensation

Once everything is agreed upon a contract will be made for both of us to sign and the agreed upon compensation will be sent. Then we will finish setting up your work to be published.
