Our first Art Contest didn't go as well as hoped, so we decided that everyone who submitted something won our first contest and a prize worth $20.

The Art Contest will be held on www.deviantart.com.* Contest has started and will end December 31st 2010.

This contest will have the very distinct theme of paper cats, as seen in our previous issue. The goal is to create and design a unique deviant version of our white Paper Cat. This contest isn't just for Paper Crafting, but open to any media so if you prefer to do a drawing, comic, video, painting, etc, these are also valid entries and encouraged. It's up to you, maybe you want a huge version like Goliath or stylized cat like Franken-Kitty.

1.Submissions must be submitted before the December 31st 2010 deadline to win the contest. You can still share your new cat creations after that date, because we would surely like to see them, but they will not be eligible entries.

2.We would hate to rule out deviations of pop culture characters; however if it's not your original character and idea it will not be able to win. We will have an honorable mention section for submissions we like but could not deem winners.

3.And obviously if it's mature content you're doing something wrong.

4.By submitting, you agree to have your submission posted on www.realityofperception.com and in issue 3.

Art will be judged on originality and effort.

1st The first place entry will win a prize package worth $60.

2nd Second place wins a prize package worth $30.

3rd Third place wins a prize package worth $10.

The prize packages will contain an assortment of goodies determined after contacting the winner. In most cases a Paper Cow Kit and Cat Accessory Kit will be included as part of the prize. Some designs and ideas with the artist's consent can become new Cat Kits, in that case we'll contact you with an offer to make your design or idea into a new kit. Disclaimer: We have a couple paper cat projects that we haven't yet released like different cat breeds, it's possible that some submissions are of ideas we just haven't yet brought forward.
